I just bought the Anker Nano Power Bank a few days ago, so this isn’t some long-term review – it’s more of a “Hey, I’ve been using this for a week, and here’s why I’m obsessed” kind of post.

Full transparency: This isn’t sponsored, and I paid for it myself. I’m just genuinely impressed by how something this small can be this useful.

Why I Bought It

Now, first I should tell you a bit more about my situation, and why I bought the Anker Nano.

I was tired of:

  • Bulky power banks that weigh down my bag (and then I never actually carry them).
  • “Portable” chargers that still need their own pouch.
  • Slow charging when I’m in a rush.

The Anker Nano seemed like the perfect fix – small enough to forget about until I need it. Now, keep in mind, this has to be a powerful power bank. I mean,

First Week Verdict: It Lives Up to the Hype

What I Love So Far

It’s stupidly small—like, “Wait, this actually charges my phone?” small. Fits in my pocket with my keys.
Charges fast—20W USB-C means my iPhone gets a decent boost in 30 minutes.
No extra cables needed—I can plug it directly into my phone (or use a short cable).
Surprisingly sturdy—it doesn’t feel cheap, even though it’s so lightweight.

Minor Gripes (So Far)

  • Battery life is just okay—it won’t fully charge a dead phone twice, but it’s perfect for emergencies.
  • No built-in cable—would’ve been nice, but not a dealbreaker. In fact, this is what makes the Anker Nano so compact and portable, so no real complaints here!

Real-Life Testing: Where It’s Already Saved Me

image
  • At a coffee shop – Outlet was across the room, so I just plugged this in at my table.
  • On a long bus ride – Phone was at 12%, and this got me back to 80% before my stop.
  • In my work bag – Forgot it was in there until my coworker needed a charge.

Who Should Try This?

Try this if you want:

  • A truly pocket-sized charger (not just “small for a power bank”).
  • Something lightweight enough that you’ll actually carry it daily.
  • A no-frills backup for commuting, travel, or “oh crap” moments.

If you need multiple full charges or a built-in cable, look elsewhere—but for minimalist daily use? This thing rules.

Final Thoughts (For Now)

I’ll update if my opinion changes, but after a week? This might be my favorite tech purchase in months. It’s one of those rare gadgets that just works exactly how you’d hope.

I’ll report back in a month if it holds up, but for now? 10/10, no regrets.
